  1. Far too often we pass judgement on people without knowing who they are, but when judgement is passed on these people for any reason they are the ones to cry the loudest that they are a victim.

  2. for good reason sadly – both the public and professionals are often fearful of mental illness – it’s not tangible in the same way a broken limb is – and with the pressures of today’s society weighing on many people the subconscious feeling that- there for the grace of God go I – makes mentally ill people at risk of being stigmatized – similarly to terminally ill patients with lung cancer who smoked – it’s easier for professionals to believe they are invincible if they convince themselves that the patient ” is not like me”
